The nearest airport to the conference venue is Helsinki Airport (HEL), which is 19 kilometers from central Helsinki. A taxi from the airport to the conference venue costs approximately €60. Finland has Uber and the price from the airport to the venue ranges from €35 to €60. Note that the number of available cars is limited.

Alternatively, you can take the train to Helsinki railway station (the journey takes about 30 minutes). Tickets can be purchased from machines by the entrance of the terminals and train station (the ticket costs €4.60). Note that it is not possible to buy a ticket on the train. Clarion Hotel Helsinki in Jätkäsaari is about 2 kilometers from Helsinki railway station. Trams 6, 7 and 9 provide frequent connections between the station and the hotel. For timetables and routes within the Helsinki area see https://www.reittiopas.fi

Accommodation:

To make your visit as convenient as possible we recommend staying right at the conference venue, Clarion Helsinki. We have booked a quota of rooms at the Clarion Hotel Helsinki from September 11 to 14.

As Helsinki hotels are in high demand in September, we strongly recommend early reservation. Guests must reserve and pays for their own accommodation and the room account is settled directly at the hotel prior to departure.

All rooms are comfortable standard category and the rates include breakfast buffet, Wi-Fi, guest sauna and VAT. We reserve the right to change the rates.

The rooms can be booked by email or online. The quotas and prices are valid until August 15.
