Katrin Franke did her PhD with Thomas Euler and Tom Baden at the University of Tübingen in Germany. Since January 2017, she has been a junior research group leader at the Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience and the Institute for Ophthalmic Research Tübingen. Her work focuses on how cells in the early visual system of the mouse act together in complex neural circuits to extract relevant visual information.
