Abstract submission is now closed.

Submitting an abstract
The primary way to submit an abstract is the abstract submission form. If you want to include figures, symbols, or equations, use the abstract template and send your abstract to erm2019@helsinki.fi. Include all the relevant information (see the abstract submission form) in your email.

Themes
Please relate your abstract to one of the following themes:

  • Photoreceptors and RPE

  • Neural computations in the retina

  • Non-image forming vision

  • Novel methods in visual neuroscience

  • Retinal circuits

  • Cones and color vision

  • Other

Title
The title should be in lowercase letters, starting with a capital letter, and should not exceed 15 words. The title should clearly define the topic.

Authors and affiliations
Please fill in the author details as requested on the form. The compulsory details are: affiliation (organization), country, first name, and last name. Please mark only one author as the corresponding author using an asterisk (*).

Body of the abstract
The maximum length of the abstract is 2,000 characters including spaces (approximately 300 words).

Terms and conditions
By submitting an abstract, all presenters agree to the following terms and conditions: 

  • I confirm that each author/presenter listed agrees with the content of this abstract and has given permission to be listed as an author/presenter.

  • I have checked the accuracy of the information and referencing within this abstract. 

  • I understand that my abstract will not be published until my registration and full payment have been received.

  • I hereby provide permission to the organizers of the meeting to publish my abstract in the abstract book of the meeting.

  • I understand that my abstract will be published, if accepted, as submitted and that no editing to grammar or spelling will be undertaken by the Organizing Committee.
